From Passion to Profession | Help Me Get to Berklee
Welcome to my page. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted to Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s most renowned institutions for contemporary music. Music has always been the heartbeat of my life, and Berklee isn’t just a school, it’s the next step in transforming my passion into a lifelong purpose.
I’ve been accepted into the Bachelor of Music program, where I’ll have the chance to explore an incredible range of subjects and learn from world-class teachers and mentors. It’s an environment designed to stretch me creatively and propel me professionally, and I can’t wait to dive in.

Why Berklee.
Music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. It’s how I process what I feel, how I connect with others, and where I feel most like myself. I’ve been writing, producing, and performing for years, always trying to find new ways to express something honest and real through sound.
Getting into Berklee is a big step, not just because of the name but because of what it offers: a space where I can grow, refine my skills, be challenged, and be surrounded by people who are just as driven and creative as me. I want to learn from others who push boundaries and be part of a community that takes the work seriously.
In the long run, I want to make music that means something. Work that connects with people, that reflects where I come from, and where I’m headed. Berklee feels like the right place to take that next step.
First Year Abroad.
Additionally, I’ve been offered a place in the selective Year Abroad program at Berklee’s stunning campus in Valencia, Spain for my first year. This international opportunity will give me a unique global perspective and an immersive experience in one of Europe’s most vibrant music scenes. After my year in Valencia, I’ll complete the remaining three years of the program at Berklee’s main campus in Boston.

"Souluz has a curious nature, and this facilitates his openness and positivity to new musical experiences in listening, composing and performing - he took on challenging performance repertoire with songs in odd meters and creating and improvising drums solos through these pieces."

More about me.

I’m a driven and creative individual with a strong passion for music and a constant desire to grow through learning and innovation. I thrive in environments where I can challenge myself, develop new skills, and collaborate with others who share the same commitment to excellence.
Throughout high school, I’ve consistently earned scholarships in recognition of my academic achievements and creative pursuits, particularly in music. I’ve composed and produced music for short films and collaborated on various artists’ albums, exploring different sounds and styles.
My technical experience also includes working as a lighting engineer for school productions and serving as an audio engineer for large-scale live events like School Spectacular (attendance 32,000 ppl) and performances at Accor Stadium.
A defining part of my journey has been my time at the iconic Studio 301, Australia’s oldest and most prestigious recording studio, where I’ve had the privilege to work as an assistant audio engineer. Studio 301 has hosted artists such as Beyoncé, Eminem, Coldplay, Tame Impala, and Prince. Being immersed in such a professional environment has fueled my passion for music production and inspired me to continue pushing boundaries in my creative work.

Ways to Support Me.
Payment Options To be added before site is circulated...
NOTE NOT FINISHED YET
This section will include details on how to contribute and pay directly to Berklee or via Souluz’s dedicated USD account, set up specifically for his tuition and related costs. We’re currently finalising the information and will update this space shortly.
Would you like me to offer something in exchange for your contribution, I’d be honoured to share my creative capacity, whether that’s making music for an event, content or personal enjoyment, or as a gift for a loved one.
Contributions can begin from mid-June.
As we move closer to the start date, I’ll be sharing updates with full transparency. If there’s still a gap to bridge, I may explore student loans as a final option. Of course, I’m mindful of not putting myself into unnecessary financial strain, so I’m doing all I can to create sustainable pathways of support first.
If you’d like your contribution to be a recurring gift throughout my four-year degree, please let me know, your ongoing support would mean so much.
"His openness, humility, and genuine enthusiasm for learning make him an absolute pleasure to work with. I am confident that his passion for music and his drive to excel will enable him to contribute meaningfully in a tertiary learning environment."
"-Scott Sheppard Director Music Mates, Private Music Teacher.
